BBL is the next generation intense pulse light energy that allows us to precisely treat fine wrinkles, age and sun spots, small facial veins, Rosacea, freckles, facial discoloration (hyperpigmentation), enlarged pores and birth marks. Light energy delivered by the BBL will gently heat up the upper layers of your skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will stimulate your skin cells to generate new collagen. This will restore your skin to its natural beauty, blending its natural colors and making it smoother, vibrant and younger looking. You will need 2-5 treatments at 2-4 week intervals to produce desired results. You may benefit by additional treatments depending on the severity of your condition. After treatment you will experience some redness that should resolve within a few hours. For some pigmented lesions you will see a darkening of the treated areas followed by fading and flaking off at a later stage. Your treated skin will feel smoother, fine wrinkles and pores will be less noticeable and sun spots and uneven pigmentation will fade.

The procedure is gentle, non-invasive, and safe. You can expect minimal discomfort, however this varies from patient to patient and depends on the depth of the treatment. There is no need for anesthesia; however some patients may choose to have some topical anesthesia to minimize any discomfort. Postoperatively you will be given some skin care products and instruction on how to use them. These products will minimize redness or inflammation and shorten your healing time. You will be sensitive to ultra violet light and therefore you must avoid direct sun exposure until fully healed. A good sunscreen is needed whenever you are outdoors.

SCITON PROFILE (Removed the TM) CLEARSCAN
Hair Removal Laser

The Sciton Profile ClearScan contains an infared laser that can selectively target hair follicles heating them with infared energy. A topical anesthetic cream may be applied to the treatment area. Treatment time will vary depending on the area to be treated. A system for cooling your skin is used to remove heat as it leaves the follicles and should ensure a comfortable treatment. This allows for hair removal in individuals with all skin colors. The Laser works best on dark colored hairs. Some redness and slight swelling may be present in the area treated, however, this should subside within a few hours. Three to five treatments are recommended at intervals of three to eight weeks to allow for complete hair removal. The Profile ClearScan can treat skin types I through VI. Always inform our staff if you have been tanning, using tanning products, or have been exposed to the sun within the previous three weeks of your treatment as your treatment regimen will be adjusted to give you the safest, most effective experience.
