Facial Injectables and Fillers

If your problem areas predominantly surround your lips, nasolabial folds (lines that run from the corners of your nose to around your mouth) and eyes, a soft tissue filler, such as Radiesse™, may best treat your condition. Restylane and Juvederm ® can be used to add fullness to the lip. The results of most fillers can last up to six months or longer. Botox injections can help to effectively reduce the appearance of severe frown lines between the brows, which are caused by overactive muscles. This facial injectable consists of a purified protein produced by a botulinum toxin type A. Results typically last up to four months; additional treatments sessions are necessary in order to maintain optimal results.

In addition, Dr. Rousso also offers EVOLENCE ® filler injections, which provide little to no bruising. If bruising is experienced, it is typically the size of a pin prick at the injection site. Sculptra ™ injections are also available; this facial volumizer can last two or more years.
